 Re: Pulled Pork
May have to try that, did one with a Dr. Pepper and it turned out very good. Sweet Baby Rays makes some goooood sauce.

 Re: Pulled Pork
Started cooking it too late yesterday afternoon so had to wait till this morning to eat some. Worth the wait. I tell ya this is sho-a- nuff some good eating. Thanks for the recipe. I used A & W rootbeer not sure what you use but it came out good.

 Re: Pulled Pork
Any deer meat will work...Cut the meat into pieces and layer the bottom of the crock pot with bacon strips. Then put a layer of deer then bacon.Continue this process until all deer meat is used.Cook until tender then mix all meat with a fork and add BBQ sauce.the bacon adds the fat and keeps the deer from being too dry.

 Re: Pulled Pork
haha I don't have quite that much bacon, of course in this situation that's not necessarily a bad thing!!
actually did it with a backstrap saturday and it came out really good! i cooked it on low for 11 hours overnight instead of 6 on high buddies enjoyed it as well, thanks!
