Can I used coarse sea salt in lieu of canning and pickling salt in a recipe? |

yup. salt is salt....may I suggest a gourmet sea salt from France.....dispensed from a Alton Brown dispenser.........like the pos xmas gift I got. |

Pretty much the same thing. Canning salt is just "salt" no additives such as iodine or anti-caking additives. So as long as your Sea Salt has not additives it should be good. |
