I've never cooked them, I know some guys that have...they swear they are good. I believe it was closed to ten years ago they tried to market them as "Kentucky Tuna." I worked inland towing, and they are everywhere on the Cumberland river. I had one jump through my engine room doors one night while we were flanking, when I woke up the next morning it looked like somebody gutted a hog in the ER. It ended up under the deck plates in the lower engine room, it took me and the oiler a day to clean up all the mess lol!

do a fish couvion (or however you spell it) with it. or a white cream sauce with pasta. make sure to tell your ole lady its like trout or something till after she says "mmm this pretty good!" lol

the acid from the tomato can draw cast from the pot and make what wver u cook taste metalic. u mite not notis the first few times but it ads up and does alout of damage. magnalite is a perfic solution

ooooo man turtle is the shit make a sauce pcunt with it. if u clean it and it has the lil yello eggs in it put em in ur gravy at the last minute and let em get firm but not to firm and take em out bc if u dont they will harden. and they tase so good withthe gravy!
