Ways to cook gar?
I figured a nest of couyons was the perfect place for this question . never tried gar before, but we have been killing the shit out of them lately and i've been thinking about tryin to cook some.. What are y'all's favorite ways to cook em?

I've tried gar a bunch of different ways, and, IMHO, the best thing I've found for them is to bury them in the garden and grow veggies on top of them ...

Hell I fry em like catfish! Taste just like em but a little more chewy! Don't eat em cold though!! Once you learn how to clean them it's not very hard!

I like to grind them up mix in a lil bit of potatoes fry them up. Put a lil tardor sauce on some bread and you got a fine fish sanwitch
