John firefly is a 80 proof sweet tea. Pour a couple ounces in a glass with ice pour a couple ounces of lemon aid and a splash of 7up!!! And you got your self a fine drink right der'

Drinking Bud Heavy and operating a tower crane.

Students look like a herd of ants running around down there.

I had to work this Labor Day weekend. First call on Friday at 7pm. 'Any county unit have report of subject playing basketball on I-64 at the 32 mile marker.' Upon arrival this guy was dribbling a basketball in the middle of the interstate dodging cars and a Bud diesel in the other hand. His car was off the roadway bent in forty directions. :o

[quote="
I did work with a dude that was a magician on a backhoe. He was as Hilljack as I've ever seen. He had a hole in his lip from a Plott Hound during a fight with a bear, one of his daughters was a devil worshipper and he painted his house with spray paint that he got at a freight auction for ten dollars... Anyway dude could run that hoe. He'd have GPC 100 cig hanging on his lip all ash right up to the filter. Not even burning anymore just hanging. He'd be working the boom and the outriggers and the whole rig would jump and bounce but that cig never moved or fell or nothing. We'd stare in amazement.
One time they had a fance cocktail party on the putting green at the country club (where we worked) and a fox showed up. It was staggering and drooling. Either distemper or parvo or rabies...so they called Hank. He kept a colt woodsman in his truck. He walks up amongst the tux and gown crowd and over to the fox. Some lady holllers "no don't shoot.." BANG BANG BANG he cut her off. Picked it up by the tail and walked off. Just tossed it in the back of the EZ go :lol:[/quote]

:lol: Sounds like pretty much half the population around here.

OK, so I'm at dinner this evening and while perusing the bar menu on the table, I noticed that they carry Sailor Jerry Rum. Well, based on the reccomendations from this board, I decided to give it a go - since I had never had it before.

PISS-WATER SWILL.

That is NOT a good rum. Yeah, it may be better than Bacardi, but that is about where it ends. It would be like saying that Cuervo Gold is a "great" tequila.

Blaaaaach! I will NOT be spending my money in that direction again. To those that said it was "very good," please, Please, PLEASE do yourself a favor and get a bottle of Old New Orleans Spice.

My thoughts are best expressed by Ralph Wiggum when he said "It tastes like burning..."

Jon, your taste buds must have been off because it's good. Not as good as Old New Orleans but pretty close IMO.

to me, it had waaaay too much of a charcoal burn to it, and it seems like there is an overdose of vanilla. I don't like Old New Orleans 10 year old rum because of the overpowering charcoal taste, either.

But hey, that's just my thoughts/report. Different strokes...
