Duck and mushroom gravy
Simple recipe I threw together for new years eve.
Take about 6 duck breasts and cube them up and mash what blood out that you can. In a black skillet heat some olive oil and start to Sautee some onion. After about 2 minutes add your duck with oregano, thyme, garlic, salt and pepper. I also add some "pickapeppa" sauce, can buy it at Walmart or wherever. Cook your ducks until medium continually stirring and drain the water. In anither skillet fry some potatoes and onions, soft fried, crunchy, how ever you like and season to taste. When the potatoes are done throw your mix of ducks and onion in with them. Make a gravy by browning some mushrooms in a butter and olive oil mix. I use about 2 cups of beef bouillon for my water and add 2 bay leaves. Pour the gravy on top and bake for about 20 minutes. Simple but delicious dinner, enjoy.
