Roux question
Im making a catfish courtbillion and decided to make my own roux. Was wondering if yall brown your onions separate or with the roux

After the roux is done throw the onions in and let them cook about 5 mins then add a little water and stir keep adding water till you get it get the right amount. Try to get it as smooth as you can! You don't want chunks cause if you eat a chunk of roux it will be sour!! Good luck!
