Hey guys,

I've been cooking with a Sous Vide circulator for a while now and I love this thing. Today I made duck breasts with it and they came out incredible. I cooked them @ 135* for two hours then seared them in a piping hot cast iron pan for one minute a side. I seasoned them with a blend I get from a spice shop, and made a Balsamic Cherry reduction sauce they came out awesome.

Anyone else using the sous vide cooking method? Got any good recipes for wild game?

I got one few months ago and love it too. Cook all My duck and vineson to 126F. Chicago steak seasoning and sear In hot skillet for 30sec a side. Best wild game I’ve ever had. Do it several times a month now. The gf loves steaks in there too.

This is the one I have. My only issue is it takes up some cabinet space. About the size of a crock pot.

My buddy has the annova one that you can stick into what ever container you want. I’d get this one if kitchen space is a issue.

I’ve cooked diving ducks in this thing and they aren’t gamey at all. As long as you don’t sear too long you will have awesome results every time.
