We put um in a wash tube with a garden hose running just to circulate the water and watch for the mud 2 start clearing up. |

no need to purge the chewed up pogey or other fish guts is just lagniappe it gives it flavor soul!! |

I don't purge basin crawfish just rinse em off sometimes. If someone wanted crawfish so bad that they could bring thereself to eatin sum dirty ass pond crawfish.... I would recommend purgin in either salt water or some good ol chlorine city water. |

Depends on where they are from, basin or ponds. Basin crawfish are usually clean and pond crawfish can be dirty as hell. I stopped using the salt a long time ago but will soak pond crawfish, changing the water as many times as it takes to show clean. |
