I need some ideas for cookin nutria and i figured the coonasses could help me out with this one. last time(which was also the first), we boiled them in a big pot til they were tender and then pulled them out and pulled the meat off and them put them back in the pot and made a soup/stew out of it and it was damn good. yalls got any nutria recipes? killed a pile of em today and would like some suggestions. thanks ![]() |

Cook it in tony c. roo. You can get it at walmart, and it is damn good. i like my duck and geese in it, i am sure a nutra or any other tasty rodents would be good in it too. cook it 4 to 6 hours in the roo in a croc pot. ![]() |

thanks ben. by the way i saw that nutria have more protein than chicken and less fat. and the small ones you can damn near just pull the skin off of em like you do a duck. real easy to skin |
