 Pecan Crusted Trout (needing help)
Anybody have a good recipe? Im going to use Rainbow trout and cook um on cedar planks...  Got the cooking part down, just need help with the pecan part...

Never coated fish with pecans & wouldn't think that the trout would need it, but I think that all you would do is crush up the roasted pecans and press into the fish before cooking. Or maybe you could use the pecans in a sauce for after the fish are done cooking...
Yeah, I know, that's not the answer you were looking for, just another thought...

Mince da pecans up real fine or put in a blender and powder dem, then sautee' in butter and garlic on med heat for bout 5-10 min. Spread sautee'd pecans on fish and cook da fish.

You can do that or use the powder pecans as a breading and take your filets and dip them once in egg...then put into mixture of pecans and some spices (pre mixed) then dip quickly once more in egg and again in mixture then do them up in a pan full of butter on some good heat. 1-2 min a side. DELICIOUS!
