2018 SETX Mud Run

We have blocked 10 rooms but I have already told the General Manager that we will probably go over that. Please mention "SETX MUD RUN" when making your reservation in order to take advantage of our special group pricing... $90 / night. The hotel is pet friendly! Plenty of parking for boats & trucks.

Friday night food is on your own, we have a big group that goes to Larry's French Market or you can do your own thing.

The actual event is Saturday February 17, 2018.

Launch Time will be 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM.

Waivers are required to be completed prior to launching. By completing the waiver prior to 10AM on 2/17/2018 you will be automatically entered in a chance to win a RTIC Camo Cooler.

There are two places to ride assuming the mud is right (more details will be posted in January).

Saturday Night I believe Scott aka HuckFinn is going to be cooking again and again more details on this will be forthcoming in a different thread.

We are locals, but I think me and the wife are going to get a room to have night "away". We have a sitter for the kiddos and we've been living with the in-laws since the flood. How much fun could it be to go back to their house after having a good time out in the boat.lol

All the KING size beds are booked up. They also said most of the rooms in the area are going to be booked up that weekend. So if your thinking about going you better get a room now and cancel later if you change your mind.

That ain't no joke! First time I ran behind him, I went home and had my motor modded. Just glad no one got video of my SD struggling to not look slow!!!!

Just checked with La Quinta, they have 25 reservations so far for us... That's pretty good! Should be a lot of fun.

You will be very close to a great fishing spot if its open. The GSU hot ditch makes for some awesome redfishing. But at times, when it gets really cold outside, they have been know to close fishing in there because the fish stack up and its too easy.

Why are you giving up all the good spots

I'll be fishing Friday evening, Saturday morning & Sunday. Nothing like redfish on the half shell.
