Just got back from freedom day at their elementary school. Honoring veterans for their service to this country. Thought ya'll might like. Also want to thank the veterans that served for this country. My hats off to you :)

Nice, I wish more schools would do this, although the flag should never touch the ground.

Maybe freedom day would include the freedom to pray in school if a kid so chooses.

One of my sons teachers at a public school is actually encouraging then to pray…. :D :D

Actually the kids pray and say the pledge before school every day. Its a public school. The reason that the flag is on the ground is because it was more like a large puzzle. The 4th graders had long strips of fabric and it was woven up/down over/under to create the flag. Just was really surprised that the principal started the program out with a moment of silence and a prayer then colors and pledge. Way it should be
