If it's an attempt one would have reasonable belief that successful completion is not guaranteed. Just sayin'.

Of 113 that have attempted, only 19 made it to ranger school, and all washed out in the first two weeks.

Valerie Jarret and crowd are not going to take no for an answer on it though, and they sent three back to recycle. They will drag at least one across the finish line, so feminists can celebrate.

It is all a giant tax payer waste of money, and it has nothing to do with raising the lethality of our military or fighting and winning wars. It is just PC nonsense that will weaken our Army

As the father of two daughters who have excelled in education and life, I resent the notion that they cannot do somthing simply because they are women. They've both experienced the "good ole boy" engineering network and called out employers for that and as a result they were both commended and promoted above their male supervisors.

Do any of you watch Ninja Warriiors? The women on there are just as physical and strong as their male counterparts, and in some cases, much more agile. I don't doubt there are women coming down the pike in the military who will eventually complete Ranger requirements without modification.

What happens if and when they get captured? They will get raped and tortured horribly. I mean look at how muslims treat their own women.

What type of parent would want this for their daughter?

Why do you feel resentment about that? The fact is that there are things that a man can do that a woman will never be able to do to the same level. It's nothing more than physiology. Our bodies are different.

Can a woman play football? Sure. Can she play with the same physicality as a man? No way. We're different. Why can't we celebrate that rather than vilifying it?

You can resent whatever notions all you want, but in your original post you proved you have your doubts, too. Refer to post #5.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but they will not make it through without changing the standard, as the standard was already changed.

There are three left in the course, and there is no way the three will get kicked out now. Higher has spoken, and even though they did not make the standard to recycle the last time, they are being pushed through.

The media and the top brass will claim that the standard was not lowered, but they lie to cover for liberalism and feminism. It is just how it works.

yes, I have watched the ninja obstacle course show, and have watched female collegiate gymnastics. While the two of them have commonalities, neither relates to Army Ranger school (one of us would know).

Just sit back and wait a few weeks Dean, the media will be flooded with the stores of how three females conquered Army Ranger school. You will be able to sit back and crow and beat your chest on what a victory for feminism and liberalism. Those of us who do critical thinking will know that when men have a 50% pass rate, and woman have a 2% pass rate, there is not equality, that it is not cost effective for the American tax payer, that it will not increase our militaries lethality, and it will just cause a drop in standards across the board for Range School. the libs and fems will not allow the school to continue with standards that see 1 to 2% of females passing.

I thought only certain jobs were available to women in the armed forces. Like in the Marines they can only be nurses mechanics or paper pushers

I think a quick fix to all this women in the military would be requiring all women 18+ to register with the selective service. The general public would be outraged.

and they changed the friggin standards so they could pass.

What a fucking crock. I'm a Marine but I found out today they are changing the wording to infantry marine, instead of infantrymen as not to offend anybody

Dguidry, have you ever served in a combat arm section on our military? Men would be more willing to jeopardize the mission in order to protect a female. One must remember the primary goal of our military is to win our nation's wars. If feelings get hurt in the process oh well. That is the least of my worries.

I used to fly a Ranger flag from time to time when I was at the lake to reminisce about old times. I took it down and threw it away. PC culture has surely hurt the Army.

I feel bad for the boys now...
