At approx 10am yesterday a mortar round landed within 50ft of my son and others in their compound while they were sleeping. With the Lord's grace it failed to detonate. |

man i hate to hear that he has to come home and leave like that but i am glad he is ok tell him a big thank you for his service and that goes for anybody on here in the service or with family in the service thank you for your sacrifices i think i speak for everybody on here when i say it is greatly appreciated |

There all in our prayers ! sleeping and some schitt like that goes down will make a athiest get real religous real quick.(ive seen it) .rest assure he'll be home soon how long of leave are they going to give him before shipping out to afgan? |

He'll be back at the end of April tentatively for 1 year, but it maybe less depending on troop requirements in Afghanistan. |
