I like his letter too, but I doubt he's truly part of the 1%

Cut the spending in half, that what this country needs... (and cutting future growth in spending doesnt count, political bobble heads)

Post Re: Occupy Wallstreet
I saw on the news this morning they interviewed this one guy at OWS his comment was, " I refused to work till the gov't makes a minimum wage you can live off of."

WTF, minimum wage is not for grown people. It is for students to get work experience.
Now here is what they want. In one video I heard someone say they want min wage at $20?

Do they not know how things work?
Let's play devil's advocate here.

1. Min wage increases to $20/hour.(2.6667x$7.50)
2. Fulltime employees pay adjust accordingly. (My pay would jump to $80/hour)
3. Businesses, retailers, suppliers etc. see that everyone is making 2.667x the amount of money they did before.
4. Prices on EVERYTHING go up. Gallon of milk for $5 is now $13ish. Gas is now $8ish/gallon(using $3 as a base)
5. So now your $20/hour min wage is no longer a living wage. All this did was jack the prices of all goods and services.

This is how things really work in the real world. I have no idea what fantasy land they live in that they think you can raise min wage without raising everything else. It all RELATIVE.

Went to Boston a few weeks ago and saw and walked in these "colonies" first hand and what the media fails to point out (which the cops that secure it will tell you) is that 85% of the protestors are homeless. They have no reason to back down, because they've essentially heightend their quality of life. People drop by medical supplies, tents, dope, sleeping bags etc. These people are so sadly misinformed and honestly just need a part time job and a good shower. They actually shit and piss in 5 gallon buckets. I say we take a section of Alaska, or give them an island in Hawaii and say here is a bunch of seed, a few cows, some fishing poles, some guitars, etc. Go live on your little island, hell I'd help pay for some plan tickets to rid our society of losers like this. Don't come back, live your way you see fit and piss off! You will recieve no help or grief from us. Same goes for Michael Moore, if you hate capitalism so much Mr. Moore, why don't you move to Russia, China, or North Korea. Once again, would gladly pay for his airfare and his first months rent. That guys is a parasite and we need to exterminte him.
