I have watched a few episodes of Cops in my day, and there are no shortage of arrests, where the person becomes angered and starts banging their heads on windows of police cars and other objects. if a person where unbuckled in the back of a van, and got a running start, could they generate enough force smashing into a wall or door to damage their own spinal cord?

Now the dipshit Baltimore mayor is back peddling and apologizing because she had called the violent rioters/looters "thugs".

"Thug" is quickly becoming a word that the PC police will not allow to be used. It accurately describes way to many people, and they are not into accurate descriptions.

I like to do the arm chain investigation. I look at the facts I gather from online, the news, and what the police have released, I combine that with assumptions, logic, and things I have seen in the past.

It is possible that the police used excessive force when they arrested him.

It is possible that they used the force they were trained to use, but a fluke accident happened, and he was injured. There are times in sports where no rule was broken, but injuries happen. When physical force is used in police work, sometimes those being arrested are injured, and sometimes cops are injured.

It is possible that when he ran, he injured himself falling, or hitting something.

It is possible that he had a previous injury, and injured if further in the van.

It is possible that the van driver slammed on brakes, and Freddy was injured by not being buckled in.

I am sure there are many other possibilities.

there is nothing wrong with using critical thinking to try and figure out what happened. My mind can and does change as info flows in.

the difference is that some people act out when they do not have the full story. Ferguson is a perfect example. They Trayvon Martin case is another. People riot, loot, breaks laws, and all because of lies, speculations, and BS.

There is another force at work here – it’s not black or white that is trying to undermine society. I wonder who paid for Freddie’s lavish funeral? I have been to many funerals of some very heroic men and of common men, and they didn’t get anything like that.

So follow the money and you will have your answers, it might not be the answer you seek but in may shed some light on what is really going on,,,,

yes, under certain conditions the US Military can be used inside the US against an enemy. One of the more recent events would be with the 7th ID was mobilized against the 1992 Rodney King Rioters in LA.

The 82nd Airborne was mobilized during the 1968 riots when MLK was assassinated.

The topic at hand was not so much of a rebellion, but talking about the gangs that are running the inner cities in places like Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore.

the military could be used against drug cartels and major gangs. They are a literal insurgency. There are legal considerations concerning the posse comitatus act.

The individual American also has the ability to use a firearm to protect himself against these gang members. It happens often. I am not talking vigilante style killings or murder, but there are plenty of incidents where the American gun owner uses a firearm legally to kill dangerous gang members.

I'm not on anyone's "side". You clarified what you meant and I accept that when you referred to shooting some one to sold the problem you were talking about a situation in which they were protecting themselves or others from eminent threat of harm. I have no problem with that. But I do with any suggestion that vigilante justice is ever an option and we agree on that. So there, we have established a common ground.

Let's see what else can we agree on.

1. Race and genetics, alone, are not predictive of crime.

2. Poverty is a predictive of criminal behavior.

3. Lack of education and moral foundation are predictive of criminal behavior

4. All religions have committed egregious acts against humanity in the name of God or their version of it.

5. All countries and states have committed egregious acts against their residents in the name of causes that were once thought to be righteous but today considered criminal and immoral.
