The lower number is representative of the people who are dropped from the count....ie. no longer looking for work through workforce and unemployment. That number is going down and will drop again due to peoples 99 weeks of unemployment running out and the reduction in the time one can receive unemployment benefits.......1 in 7 people now receive food stamps..... |

And that 1 in 7 does not include dependent children. |

Bwahahaha.....the entire Site just got stupider by 50 IQ points with that post. Same economists who have said we don't have ANY economic issues.... Son, pay somebody with some of that ambulance chasing money to keep you from posted stupid shit, mmk? Oh, hire you somebody to 'splain to you what this means: Now then, for those truly interested, what that chart means is a shit ton of retirement funds are about to be DRAINED AGAIN, because those types of investors are the ones who keep Wall Street in business by letting THEM DO THEIR TRADING FOR THEM. So, like choosing an idiot attorney who gets you the max sentence, choosing a bank to invest for you is the same as just writing over to them all of your assets. Get your cash NOW while you can.... |

I don't know who's right. Wait a moment while I consult my Harvard MBA daughter and my NYU Stern MBA daughter about this................... Ok, they both say I am right, the economy is improving much better than expected and we will be in full recovery mode shortly. |

The economy is draining my money. They take from the people who have jobs, I pay more for health insurance, and now I am in the 25% tax bracket. I see how the economy can be improving, they sucking the hard working people dry. |

Tell that to the Greeks dguidry: And now then, when will Goldman Sachs stand to answer for its malfeasance against the Citizens of the US, for the number stolen stands near $7 Trillion? Yo kibb.....BAD analogy dude.... Elvis and the USSR no longer exists, of this there is proof. Extraterrestrial Life cannot be discounted anymore than the size of the Universe is known...or can be comprehended. |

I'm not a harvard scholar so I guess this is way above my head, but it sure seems like the economy revolves in some sort of 4 year cyclical cycle because every election year the economy seems to miracously improve, and also the tax code gets revamped for everyone to pay lower taxes...........What a strange coincidence? |

If you are not receiving entitlements or looking for work through a fed agency, then you are not included in the unemployment numbers |

Yea...sure it is toots. ![]() I'm not sure if you're just fishing with a thread such as this or if you've actually somehow found it within yourself to believe this crap but the numbers that you're posting couldn't be further from the truth. Do you even know what the real unemployment rate (actual number of people without work) even is? |
