 Oath of Commissioned Officers
I, _____, having been appointed an officer in the Army of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of _____ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God
So what exactly is a "domestic" enemy that one would have to defend the constitution against?
Major Nadal Hasan, the army officer who while screaming "Allahu Akbar" gunned down and murdered 13 soldiers, and wounded 32 more in the name of Islam was considered by our current government an act of workplace violence.
Would going into our subways, blowing up bombs with the intent of starting a communist revolution where millions of American capitalist were murdered be an act that a domestic enemy would commit? Bill Ayers, a founding member of the Weather Underground, did blow up bombs in our subways, and in recent years, claimed that they (he and his underground) did not do enough to spur that communist revolution. It just so happens that our current Commander and Chief declared his run for his senate seat in the living room of this domestic enemy.
The head of Homeland Security (Janet Napolitano) will not call Nadal Hasan or Bill Ayers a domestic enemy, but she issued a report from her department that said troops returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were at risk for being recruited by right-wing extremists. Basically, she is more worried, or more inclined to think of our war veterans as a domestic enemy, than real domestic enemies.
Wow, interesting days in which we live.
What is next in America? Perhaps in the near future, we can ignore morality, statistics, and common sense, and instead we can take the advice of Lady Ga Ga, and can let degenerate sodomites serve openly in the military. Oh wait, we already did that one.

Well, common sense is long gone with morality coming in at a close second. And it seems to only get worse, scary thought indeed...

 Re: Oath of Commissioned Officers
thus the reason Drugs, Sex, and Rock and Roll were all lumped together. When you boil it down to the lowest common denominator, they are all three tied to rebellion, and if memory serves me correctly, somewhere in the Book of Samual, the Bible tells us that rebellion is a form of witch craft.
Being MTV is all about the rock and roll, is it anywonder that Obama is our MTV President.
ROCK the VOTE.

FowlMood "thats right ranger the constitution is there to protect us from our government"
Close, and I know what you mean, but not exactly.
The Constitution guides our governemnt, on everything from executive powers, to how the house and senate work.
It is the Bill of Rights (the first ten amendments of our constitution) that provide the protection.
Some of the founders argued against the Bill of Rights, saying that these rights already belong to us from God, and if we list them, folks will then think the Government grants these rights, and thus can take them away one day.
