since you have made this claim several times.

In the Name of the Fodder
The Fox News rapid-response team distinguishes violence in the name of a religion from the practitioners of that religion -- as long as it's Christianity.

seen this clip plenty of times before. Keep in mind, John Stewart is a comedian, who happens to be a very far left leaning one at that.

Even he agrees that this mad man (Norway Killer) was in no way connected to any "mainstream" church or doctine. One could very easily argue though that he is more in line with Nazism (which are socialists) teachings and doctrine.

As far as my comment about much of modern churches being a joke; one can take a look at the book of Revelation, and see where the end times church "Laodicea"

The lukewarm church of the Laocideans is much like the modern church which thinks they have need of nothing but doesn't realize that they are wretched.

Yes he is a comedian, it does not change the facts.

Every church but yours right? You and your herd are more devote than the rest, morally superior and in tune with the will of god. Your statement was the majority of our churches are a joke, in that entire rambling post you did not make a reference to any particular churches, you said majority except mine.

Idacraw - "Every church but yours right"

You still do not get it.

I do not have a church. The Church belongs to Christ. The "church" is the body of believers, or all of those that are saved living on the earth.

The local church that I happen to go to would be Baptist. Not that Baptist have the patent on Christianity, it is that when I have read the Bible, applied the knowledge from the Bible, I see my local Baptist Church being most in line with worshiping in the way in which the Bible calls for.

Being Baptist, I am more inclined to know what is going on in the Baptist Church. Being in the Military, I move every couple of years, and get to see a good number of Baptist Churches.

It is my opinion that many (if not most) of these Baptist churches are Apostate. They have become clubs that pay a little tribute to Jesus, but do not worship in the way the Bible teaches.

Many of the new wave Baptist Churches are nothing but big Rock and Roll shows. They preach watered down, feel good messages that are designed to tickle the ears of the congregation. they wish not to offend the good doctor and lawyer, as they want that money to keep rolling in. They do not run busses in the poor black neighborhoods, as they do not want the little heathen tearing up the new carpeting. They shy away from preaching on sin or messages that convict the heart, and cause you to go away feeling bad, and in need to get your life right with God.

This is the church of Laodicea that I spoke of before. The Bible teaches of this type of local church. This is what I see in America. I am not inclined to tell you what is going on in the Presbyterian Church, the Methodist, the others, but I would bet they are seeing the same thing.

Once again, I am not the standard, or the standard setter. the Bible is the standard
