One million people attending the inauguration, and only 14 missed work. I know its an old one but worth mentioning again. My other favorite is "they should have shot 4 more so we would of had the whole week off"

robert e lee's bday was saturday, stonewall jacksons is today.......stonewall is one of the greatest military generals of all time....Robert e Lee is quoted as saying...Stonewall lost his left arm in the battle but i feel have lost my right hand ......Stonewall died 8 days after his left arm was amputated due to being shot by his own men when he approached a picket line in the dark. he died of complications of pneumonia.

All non appropriate racist jokes aside, I can only imagine the look on his face, if you could bring MLK back from the dead, and give him a tour of America today.

He called for equality, not special hand outs.

What would he think, if you showed him MTV, where blacks are portrayed as brutish thugs with bitches and hoes, that do not raise their own children, they glorify violence to police, selling drugs, all the while wearing clown clothing three times to big for themselves, and adorned in gaudy large gold chains, gold teeth.....

What would he say when he found out that 7 of 10 black babies are now born into single family homes?

What would he think, when he discovered that blacks send more of their men to prison, than to college?

Would he be distraught when he discovered that blacks make up 12.5% of the population, and do 1/2 of the nation's murders? Imagine explaining to him that if we can lower black murder rates to the same as white murder rates, we would drop the national murder per capita rate by 40%, and have one of the lowest murder rates in the world

When in one speech, he talked about little white children and black children holding hands, and attending schools, I bet he did not know that in just a few decades, on average per year (over the last 20 years) that 10 to 30 black women would be raped by white males, but during that same time period, black males rape between 50 to 100 white women a day. Basically, blacks rape more white women in a day, then white men rape black women in a year.

Being MLK and his father were both registered republicans, and being he called for peace, I can not help but think that he would unleash physical violence against the race baiters like Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton.

I may not be a fan of MLK, but I understand that in his day, there was a struggle for equality. there were places he could not go, jobs he could not work, food he could not eat, and all because of the color of his skin. Now blacks can and have served as president, Chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, secretary of state, head of the department of justice, mayors of major cities..... and now we are teaching Americans this new wave foolishness of multiculturalism where we make excuse for skin color, and apply rules of political correctness that prevent us from solving the problems of the day.

Personally, I think MKL would vomit at what he saw in America today. He fought against racist democrats of his day, and would discover that the modern day democrat took his people from the cotton plantation, and placed them on the welfare plantation, and have as much control over them now, as they did in the 1860s

I think one has to remember that MTV and Hollywood does not always show us the whole picture.

Yes, the welfare crowd in many major cities is living like third world heathen, but that does not represent all black folks.

I often say that I have no black friends, but some of my friends happen to be black. I have a friend that recently retired as a Major in the Army, and he is one of the four best friends I have had in my life. He grew up in inner city Philadelphia, and if you never met him, and spoke on the phone with him, you would know he is black by the way he talks. He has a black dialect, but he does not speak like a thug. He has a masters degree in education, he has character and morality through the roof, an impeccable work ethic, and is a family man and did an outstanding job raising his own son. This man used to spend his own money, going into rough neighborhoods, teaching character through sport. He ran street basketball leagues, where he instructed, ran tournaments, and gave our t-shirts and trophies that he paid for.

I once had a company commander that was a black fellow from South Carolina. He was the son of a shrimp boat fisherman. This guy was one of the best leaders I have ever served under. His tactical and doctrinal knowledge was as good as anyone I ever worked for, or with. When a black soldier screwed up, this guy came down on them like a ton of bricks. He was also a good family man, and a good friend.

One of the problems is that MTV the media and pro sports do not show us many of the good, regular, decent black folks. They glorify the heathen and the trouble makers.

One day the system will break, and the welfare check is not going to go out. When it happens, the heathen will rise up like ravenous wolves. It is then, that you will see the separation of the good and the bad.

I believe that day is coming soon.

I totally agree. I am glad to see a black person achieve something in life, especially if they came from a poor upbringing and made something of themselves. This shows that yes they can do something in life, I mean look, we have a black president so now there's no excuse. I have absolutely no problem with good decent black folks.

I also have plenty of black friends. On jobs I actually sometimes hang with them more than the whites and we have a good time. I used to design and run concert light shows and worked with a black r&b group (as well as some hard rock etc) and have probably been to more black clubs than some blacks. Never had a problem, but this was 20 years ago and I bet now it would be different though. I've been to black funerals and I can tell you that even though the funeral home chapel wasn't anything fancy that didn't matter at all because they gave the best sendoff I've ever experienced. I actually felt God's presence there.
