By your and others calling attention to the deaths of 4 navy seals in this helicopter (there were 22 non seals who died as well) crash by blaming it on VP Biden mentioning the word " Seal" in that speach diminishes the sacrafices given in battle in Afganastan and elsewhere by others who have died in battle. To suggest that the Taliban targeted this helicopter because there were 4 Navy Seals on board is to give them more credit for intelligence than they are entitled to and would be an insult to our soldiers. It was a lucky shot, made by I inept humans with small arms weapons. Disclaimer: there is so much misinformation about this by conspiracy junkies that its hard to tell what is the truth. |

Have you ever translated a speech or a prayer given in a foreign language? I have. Regular speech is problematic enough to translate, but add the nuances of religious prayer and symbolism and it becomes impossible to covey meaning and intent. You can translate it almost to say what you want it to. |
