Well, today was the last day to go online at Www.healthcare.gov to enrolled in an insurance plan to be effective January 1. 2014. On the last day, the busiest of all, I managed to register and enroll without a single hitch, crash, delay at all. The exchange beat the private carrier quote I had gotten and with better coverage, smaller deductible. Don't know what all the fuss was about. That website was easy peasy, slick, intuitive. Either the complaints were unfounded or they got their shit together quickly from launch defects. |

Only bronze color you going to get out of Obama care is if shit turns bronze when it hits you in the face. Why don't you post the truth, premium before and after your great Obama care and what your deductible is now and then. I don't normally post in controversy but you coming on here with your propaganda gets my blood boiling. |

Premium: $1,448 with $3,000 deductable, 80/20 $6,000 out of pocket max yearly. 3 insured, non smokers ages 59, 56, and 24. Private policy quote with Blue Cross was $1478 but with $5,600 deductable 100% no copayment. It's a crap shoot. Previously was paying +$1600 with $7,500 deductable. Had we not had Obamacare can't imagine what my new premium would have been and for less coverage. |

It's all about subsidies for the negs and the bums. Keep giving them free shit and they stay loyal to the democratic party. Just like the republicans push religion and demonize the poor to keep their base loyal. Its all a fukkin scam and as long as you buy into the red vs blue bullshit everybody gets fucked. To quote Daniel Webster... "It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions...There are men, in all ages...who mean to govern well; but THEY MEAN TO GOVERN. They promise to be kind masters; but THEY MEAN TO BE MASTERS...They think there need be but little restraint upon themselves.... The love of power may sink too deep in their own hearts ..." "I am committed against everything which, in my judgment may weekend endanger or destroy [the Constitution]...,and especially against all extension of executive power; and I am committed against any attempt to rule the free people of this country by the power and patronage of the government itself." It is NOT the government's place to force/coerce the public to buy health insurance. The only way this law passed is from our corrupt government, (all three branches). To quote Thomas Jefferson... "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent." Dean, you posted that you feel like the whipping boy on here when politics are discussed. I think that its really that you support a corrupt government bordering on tyranny and the rest of us are fed up with it (the corrupt government and your blind support of it). |

The real question - did you cut a check - cause if not you don't have a policy ! Jan 10th is the last day to make payments to get an application converted to an actual policy.... What America is about to learn is that the vast majority of these applications are not going to be actual policies - because no payments equals no policies --- |

Well my experience was not as positive. After having filled out the application 3 times (which was my choice), I was choosing my plan just a few minutes before the deadline. All of a sudden when I tried to group my family together under one plan, it started giving me error messages. I know it's possible to put us under one plan because I was able to do it on one of the previous applications. So because of the error, I had to choose a plan for each person. When I was done, it had all of the plans starting Feb 1st instead of January 1st and it gave one of my daughters 2 policies and another daughter none. So I call the hotline and get a nice lady who says they might be able to still get me coverage for January 1st. In order to do this though, we had to start all over with a new application. So we finally get through that and she says someone will call me tomorrow about getting January 1st coverage. Of course no phone call. I keep calling the hotline daily and usually got someone named "Mrs. Jackson" or something similar, who could give a fuck less about my situation. I finally get a nice guy who knows his shit (I hope) and he said the first lady did the application wrong, that's why nobody called me. As of today, I'm still in a holding pattern waiting on someone to call me. Healthcare.gov is a clusterfuck. |

Plain and simple... Tyranny in progress. Any politician who votes for any legislation that moves us closer to tyranny is a traitor. They are weakening our country which by default is aiding our enemies. |
