Anybody heard of Hillary and Bill were on the Ashely Madison leak? Could be just a rumor but wouldn't surprise me either

Post Re: The Hillary Thread
Former State Department security officials don’t buy Hillary Clinton’s latest alibi that she couldn’t tell that government e-mails — which she improperly, if not illegally, kept for several years on an unsecured home server — contained top-secret information because they lacked official markings and weren’t classified until later.
Such messages contain sensitive “keywords” distinguishing them from unclassified information, even if the material didn’t bear a classified heading as she claims.
The secretary would have known better, the department officials say, because she was trained to understand the difference when she was “read in” on procedures to ID and handle classified information by diplomatic-security officials in 2009.
Clinton also went through a so-called “read-off” when she left office in 2013. In that debriefing, security officials reminded her of her duty to return all classified documents, including ones in which the classification status is “uncertain,” which would have included the e-mails stored on her private server — which she only this month turned over to authorities. The read-off would have included her signing a nondisclosure agreement.
“Once she resigned as secretary, she needed to return classified documents and other government-owned documents, which in this case would have included the server,” veteran Diplomatic Security Service Special Agent Raymond Fournier said.
US intelligence officials so far have determined that at least four — and as many as 305 — of the more than 30,000 e-mails Clinton and her aides have printed out and turned over to investigators were classified at the time they were written.
They include a 2011 message from Clinton’s top aides that contains military intelligence from United States Africa Command gleaned from satellite images of troop movements in Libya, along with the travel and protection plans for Ambassador Christopher Stevens, who was later killed in a terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya. Another staff e-mail sent to Clinton in 2012 contained investigative data about Benghazi terrorist suspects wanted by the FBI.
Both e-mails were classified TS/SI — Top Secret/Special Intelligence — and required the nation’s highest security clearance to read. SI is a control system within the supersecret designation known as Sensitive Compartmented Information.
SCI intelligence, which if leaked can cause “grave harm” to national security, is tightly controlled and usually kept in hard-copy form in bound books numbered and stored in highly secure “read rooms” known as SCIFs at department headquarters in Foggy Bottom. Before entering, cleared officials are required to place cellphones, BlackBerrys, iPads, laptops and other electronic devices on a shelf outside the monitored facilities. TS/SCI material is transported between SCIFs in locked bags carried by special couriers.
Clinton aides, however, put it into electronic form. Clinton still maintains she didn’t know that their TS/SCI e-mails were classified when she received them on a private computer server she set up outside the department in 2009.
“I did not receive any material marked or designated classified, which is the way you know whether something is [classified],” she said last week, revising an earlier claim that “there is no classified material.”
“That’s total BS,” said retired Army Col. Larry Mrozinski, who served almost four years as a senior military adviser and security manager in the State Department under both Clinton and Condoleezza Rice.

She's toast and she knows it.That's why she's not doing any public appearences. She's out of lies. Even the liberal media knows it. They're hammering her, which is almost unheard of.

Ol' Guidry gonna have to vote Republican.

Post Re: The Hillary Thread

As a result - Hillary was most likely used to hack US State Department servers too...
Newly disclosed FBI discoverys from her "server" which lacked even basic Enterprise software protection....

"When it comes to technology, the former Secretary of State "doesn't know how it all works."

"This obviously wasn’t 'spam' as Hillary’s people are calling it — it was malicious, so that’s not spam," Jonathan Pollet, founder of the cybersecurity firm Red Tiger Security, said in an email.

Pollet noted that the attacks were likely part of a larger phishing campaign that targets thousands of people, and Clinton's server just happened to get hit.

"They call this a drive-by," he said.

'A huge security gap'
"The bigger problem is that her email did not have any enterprise-level security filters or proxies, and I bet her laptop or smartphone didn’t have endpoint protection either," Pollet added.

"She probably used those devices to connect to both her private email server and her .gov systems — probably not at the same time, but her devices had access to both."

Pollet said devices that move between a private account and a .gov account, such as Clinton's Blackberry phone, are particularly vulnerable to attack.

"This was a huge security gap and huge lapse of judgment on her part," he said."

Post Re: The Hillary Thread
Secret Service - "Being assigned to Hillary is a form of punishment"

“‘Good morning, ma’am,” a member of the uniformed Secret Service once greeted Hillary Clinton.
“F— off,” she replied.
That exchange is one among many that active and retired Secret Service agents shared with Ronald Kessler, author of “First Family Detail,” a compelling look at the intrepid personnel who shield America’s presidents and their families — and those whom they guard.
Kessler writes flatteringly and critically about people in both parties. Regarding the Clintons, Kessler presents Chelsea as a model protectee who respected and appreciated her agents. He describes Bill as a difficult chief executive, but an easygoing ex-president. And Kessler exposes Hillary as an epically abusive Arctic monster.
“When in public, Hillary smiles and acts graciously,” Kessler explains. “As soon as the cameras are gone, her angry personality, nastiness, and imperiousness become evident.”
He adds: “Hillary Clinton can make Richard Nixon look like Mahatma Gandhi.”
Kessler was an investigative reporter with the Wall Street Journal and Washington Post and has penned 19 other books. Among much more in “First Family Detail,” he reports:
“Hillary was very rude to agents, and she didn’t appear to like law enforcement or the military,” former Secret Service agent Lloyd Bulman recalls. “She wouldn’t go over and meet military people or police officers, as most protectees do. She was just really rude to almost everybody. She’d act like she didn’t want you around, like you were beneath her.”
“Hillary didn’t like the military aides wearing their uniforms around the White House,” one former agent remembers. “She asked if they would wear business suits instead. The uniform’s a sign of pride, and they’re proud to wear their uniform. I know that the military was actually really offended by it.”
Former agent Jeff Crane says, “Hillary would cuss at Secret Service drivers for going over bumps.”
Another former member of her detail recollects, “Hillary never talked to us . . . Most all members of first families would talk to us and smile. She never did that.”
“We spent years with her,” yet another Secret Service agent notes. “She never said thank you.”
Within the White House, Hillary had a “standing rule that no one spoke to her when she was going from one location to another,” says former FBI agent Coy Copeland. “In fact, anyone who would see her coming would just step into the first available office.”
One former Secret Service agent states, “If Hillary was walking down a hall, you were supposed to hide behind drapes used as partitions.”
Hillary one day ran into a White House electrician who was changing a lightbulb in the upstairs family quarters. She screamed at him, because she had demanded that all repairs be performed while the Clintons were outside the Executive Mansion.
“She caught the guy on a ladder doing the lightbulb,” says Franette McCulloch, who served at that time as assistant White House pastry chef. “He was a basket case.”
White House usher Christopher B. Emery unwisely called back Barbara Bush after she phoned him for computer troubleshooting. Emery helped the former first lady twice. Consequently, Kessler reports, Hillary sacked him. The father of four stayed jobless for a year.
While running for US Senate, Hillary stopped at an upstate New York 4-H Club. As one Secret Service agent says, Hillary saw farmers and cows and then erupted. “She turned to a staffer and said, ‘What the f - - - did we come here for? There’s no money here.’ ”
Secret Service “agents consider being assigned to her detail a form of punishment,” Kessler concludes. “In fact, agents say being on Hillary Clinton’s detail is the worst duty assignment in the Secret Service.”
After studying the Secret Service and its relationships with dozens of presidents, vice-presidents and their families, Ronald Kessler’s astonishment at Hillary Clinton’s inhumanity should reverberate in every American’s head.
As he told me: “No one would hire such a person to work at a McDonald’s, and yet she is being considered for president of the United States.”

Post Re: The Hillary Thread
In one interview she says she doesn't know how this stuff works - in another she
claims there were numerous safeguards in place on her server...... Fact is she put
US National Security at risk and thumbed her nose at security procedure and skipped
attending her mandated US State Dept cyber security training.....

WASHINGTON (AP) — The private email server running in Hillary Rodham Clinton's home basement when she was secretary of state was connected to the Internet in ways that made it more vulnerable to hackers, according to data and documents reviewed by The Associated Press.

Clinton's server, which handled her personal and State Department correspondence, appeared to allow users to connect openly over the Internet to control it remotely, according to detailed records compiled in 2012. Experts said the Microsoft remote desktop service wasn't intended for such use without additional protective measures, and was the subject of U.S. government and industry warnings at the time over attacks from even low-skilled intruders.

Records show that Clinton additionally operated two more devices on her home network in Chappaqua, New York, that also were directly accessible from the Internet. One contained similar remote-control software that also has suffered from security vulnerabilities, known as Virtual Network Computing, and the other appeared to be configured to run websites.

The new details provide the first clues about how Clinton's computer, running Microsoft's server software, was set up and protected when she used it exclusively over four years as secretary of state for all work messages. Clinton's privately paid technology adviser, Bryan Pagliano, has declined to answer questions about his work from congressional investigators, citing the U.S. Constitution's Fifth Amendment protection against self-incrimination.

Some emails on Clinton's server were later deemed top secret, and scores of others included confidential or sensitive information. Clinton has said that her server featured "numerous safeguards," but she has yet to explain how well her system was secured and whether, or how frequently, security updates were applied.

Clinton has apologized for running her homebrew server, and President Barack Obama said during a "60 Minutes" interview Sunday it was "a mistake." Obama said national security wasn't endangered, although the FBI still has yet to complete its review of Clinton's server for evidence of hacking.

Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon said late Monday that "this report, like others before it, lacks any evidence of an actual breach, let alone one specifically targeting Hillary Clinton. The Justice Department is conducting a review of the security of the server, and we are cooperating in full."

The AP exclusively reviewed numerous records from an Internet "census" by an anonymous hacker-researcher, who three years ago used unsecured devices to scan hundreds of millions of Internet Protocol addresses for accessible doors, called "ports." Using a computer in Serbia, the hacker scanned Clinton's basement server in Chappaqua at least twice, in August and December 2012. It was unclear whether the hacker was aware the server belonged to Clinton, although it identified itself as providing email services for clintonemail.com. The results are widely available online.

Remote-access software allows users to control another computer from afar. The programs are usually operated through an encrypted connection — called a virtual private network, or VPN. But Clinton's system appeared to accept commands directly from the Internet without such protections.

"That's total amateur hour," said Marc Maiffret, who has founded two cyber security companies. He said permitting remote-access connections directly over the Internet would be the result of someone choosing convenience over security or failing to understand the risks. "Real enterprise-class security, with teams dedicated to these things, would not do this," he said.

The government and security firms have published warnings about allowing this kind of remote access to Clinton's server. The same software was targeted by an infectious Internet worm, known as Morta, which exploited weak passwords to break into servers. The software also was known to be vulnerable to brute-force attacks that tried password combinations until hackers broke in, and in some cases it could be tricked into revealing sensitive details about a server to help hackers formulate attacks.

"An attacker with a low skill level would be able to exploit this vulnerability," said the Homeland Security Department's U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team in 2012, the same year Clinton's server was scanned.

Also in 2012, the State Department had outlawed use of remote-access software for its technology officials to maintain unclassified servers without a waiver. It had banned all instances of remotely connecting to classified servers or servers located overseas.

The findings suggest Clinton's server "violates the most basic network-perimeter security tenets: Don't expose insecure services to the Internet," said Justin Harvey, the chief security officer for Fidelis Cybersecurity.

I really hope she falls on her face and they ask her quite a few questions about this at the debate tonight. Maybe someone will bring up references to that book also. I really don't understand how anyone could be so hateful and inhumane.. Especially to the people that will put their life on the line to save you. At the same time I think she would be the easiest candidate to beat. Sanders is gaining a lot of popularity with the lazy and low income crowd because he is offering "free money" and "free education" to everyone. And that crowd makes up a lot of the population..

What happened to all of the Bengazi vitriol? Went poooooof with McArthy's comments about the "investigation" having been merely political and void of merit. So too will the email server issue fade away.

Hillary nailed it in the Debate last night. The Democrats know how to talk about issues. They all did excellently.

Gentlemen, I'm almost certain at this point she will be our first female president.

It actually was a well run debate. The topics they covered were important and they didn't spend the whole time talking bad about each other. I think it was ran better than the Rep debate honestly. However I do not think Hillary helped herself all that much last night. She seemed too versed and always managed to avoid direct questions about her past and all of her scandals. Anderson had to bring her back to the topic multiple times because she kept trying to avoid the questions and the crowd was starting to get tired of it. She might win the nomination but it's really going to be hard to elect Hillary after the other party really gets ahold of her and starts letting stuff out and I think the DNC knows it. I would look for a Sanders ticket. Hillary is only going to be electable based on the fact that she is a woman. Webb sounded good even though he is out of the equation, and I think O'Malley helped himself out a lot. I don't agree on some of his ideas but he does seem to have some solid ones too.

I have done my research. I understand what he did and I said I don't agree with all of his policies but he does have some decent ones. I liked his zero tolerance policy. However from a Democratic standpoint watching the debate last night O'Malley did help himself out. He spoke on topics that mattered and had precise answers and seemed very electable, but he's so far behind I don't think it matters. Didn't say I would vote for him and wouldn't if he was on any ballet. And Webb helped himself out a ton. Right now he's got 36 percent of the votes saying he won and Sanders was ahead of him with 50. Hillary shouldn't be our concern, Sanders should be..

I have to admit that the debate was what I expected to hear them say. Why can't we all get along let's give free college to immigrants then they can be good Americans. Then say that trumps kids shouldn't be allowed the same. Aren't trumps kids American. Yea that will work!! We will give them an education so they can go back to their country and plot against us. I'm sick of this stupid shit. Then they say we have more people in the prison system than any other country, well let's put him in jail and feed him for life. We so scared to hurt someone's feelings. When I was in Singapore they hung a woman for having cocain in her possession. If you got caught stealing they cut off limbs. Remember when that kid sprayed graffiti on someone's car in Singapore, they beat his ass with a cane. Yea that's real stuff bet if we started doing that the crime would stop. But the don't hurt him LIBS would cry that's not necessary. Really!!!
I'm done venting now, carry on

I hope America paid attention.

The Free Shit For All socialism means taxes through the roof. Bernie has even blessed off on a 90% tax rate.

Hillary wants your guns, and with her Sec of State track record, can we handle any more of her world diplomacy?

We have had six years of Obama policy and blacks, hispanics, and the poor have all seen their unemployment go up, their poverty rates increase, and the top 1% have gotten richer at a rate we have not seen since 1927.

The world is in a mess right now, and it has Obama's and Hillary's finger prints all over it.

She's not trustworthy. Hillary has been involved in lies, obfuscation, unethical behavior, and dubious business deals that would have anyone else prosecuted. I would think that the email thing would be the least of her worries. Most people that are informed voters wouldn't vote for her because of her untrustworthy history long before they would try to digest the email scandal.
I would be surprised if she got the nomination and shocked if she were to actually win the general election.
40 plus years of lying, cheating and stealing does not garner the electorate's favor.

It's always hard to beat the Dems. Cuz there are droves of folks that will always vote for the Santa Claus president. And after watching the dem debate, they are offering more free crap than ever. It's really sad and not fair to future generations, but they don't care about that. They'll do anything at all costs to try to keep power. Pathetic.

It's on.
Give us something to look forward to after the vote. I think it will be fun regardless of the outcome.

Post Re: The Hillary Thread
How about a Clinton prosecution !!!

If Hillary Clinton and her supporters thought her email problems were behind them after
the Democratic debate, those hopes could soon be dashed.

Fox News reported this week that the FBI is looking into whether there's been any violation
of the Espionage Act as a result of her use of a private, unsecured email system while
secretary of state.

When classified material started showing up in Clinton's emails, she argued that she'd done
nothing wrong because none of the emails she sent or received was marked "classified" at
the time. But violating the Espionage Act doesn't require that the information come emblazoned
with such markings. "Gross negligence" in handling "information relating to national defense" is all
that's needed to be found guilty. And the maximum penalty is 10 years in prison.

Gross negligence could include, Fox reports, storing national defense information on
"an unsecured computer network." Given what we've learned in the past few weeks, it
seems pretty obvious that Clinton's server was very much unsecured. AP reported, while she
was secretary of state, her server "was connected to the Internet in ways that made it more
vulnerable" to "even low-skilled intruders."

We also recently learned that Platte River Networks, which took control of Clinton's server
in 2013, didn't have a cybersecurity system in place for months. Even then, Platte was later
warned by another firm that Clinton's emails were "inadequately protected."

Fox also reports that investigators are looking into whether there was any obstruction of
justice involved in how Clinton handled her emails and turned them over to the State Department.
Anyone who thinks the FBI isn't taking this case seriously should read Friday's New York Times.
In a story headlined "Obama's Comments on Clinton Emails Collide With FBI Inquiry," the Times
reports that FBI agents were "angered" after President Obama went on "60 Minutes" and tried
to downplay the investigation by saying that "I don't think it" — meaning Hillary's private email
account — "posed a national security problem." That comment, the Times says, raised "the ire
of officials who saw an instance of the president trying to influence the outcome of a continuing
investigation — and not for the first time."

At one point in the Democratic debate this week, Bernie Sanders turned to Clinton and said that
he was "sick and tired of hearing about your damned emails." Sanders might be, but it doesn't
look like the FBI will be any time soon.

I hope the FBI is taking things seriously. I am tired of seeing politicians and people with power just break the law at will and have nothing done about it. Everyone deserves the consequences of their actions. Also I applaud them for standing up to the Pres. no matter what he says or tries to do. I wish they'd just throw both of them in jail just to make sure they get the right one.
