Louisiana must be losing its bananas! John Bell talking of raising gas tax 23.5 cents per gallon. Guest them Democraps there proud of themselves for electing him. His first move in office was to raise taxes on ya'll now 1 yr later going do it again. Just like a democraps, won't even talk of cutting spending especially on the things that piss off those blue dog democrap government money receiving leeches that voted him in! Glad I live on other side of border!

Just seems to me ever LBJ became president, all the Democrats think throwing money on a problem will fix it, using working mans tax dollars to buy the non-working leeches votes, and never consider anything but raising taxes to pay for the stupid ideas and cures that the politicians come up with. Maybe this Trump mentality of how to go about things will catch on.

Not just Edwards, the whole legislature that voted the higher sales tax in last year helped Edwards. I did not vote for him, but I will be remembering my district representatives and senators that did and vote against them if they voted for those sales taxes.

In this economy, taxes hurt the economy even more.
