Lets be clear - the Biden policy at the border is killing Americans... A top Border Patrol union official warned that agents are being forced to release COVID-positive migrants "day in, day out" and not all are being tested. He said it is a risk not only to the public, but also to agents. "We have a lot of agents quarantined right now, which adds to our problem, on top of agents who are sick with COVID, so we’re concerned about catching it ourselves, we’re concerned about our families and coworkers and it just seems everyone's turning a blind eye to it when we have a real situation down here," Chris Cabrera, a vice president of the National Border Patrol Council, said Saturday on "Fox News Live." More than 188,000 migrants were encountered in June, marking the latest month for numbers to rise. That number is expected to rise beyond 200,000 in July, with the Associated Press reporting that preliminary estimates put the number at 210,000. |

Yesterday Louisiana - the state with the most illegals being released behind Texas had a death count of 59 people - the second highest Covid death count in the nation.... Missouri was the highest with 89 deaths and who is suing the Biden administration for the current border policy.... Together those two states had almost half of the nationwide deaths - due to illegals being set loose on their streets with empty pockets and no papers even with a Covid positive test while legal Americans are denied reentry to the US..... |

EDINBURG, Texas (Border Report) — Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez on Monday afternoon declared a local disaster declaration due to the high volume of migrants released in the county by border officials and the growing threat of COVID-19 they might bring, telling Border Report that the region “has reached the point of capacity.” Cortez and three other South Texas county judges from Willacy, Cameron and Starr counties have held firm against issuing disaster declarations that coincide with Gov. Greg Abbott’s declaration. But Cortez said Monday’s declaration was necessary and these “extraordinary measures” were taken to help the county hopefully qualify for additional funding to help mitigate untold costs associated with the migrants. On Monday evening, McAllen Mayor Javier Villalobos, whose city is the largest in Hidalgo County, also issued a disaster declaration. The city’s declaration is due to the high numbers of migrants that the city is dealing with as the Department of Homeland Security releases hundreds of migrants per day in downtown McAllen to the care of the nonprofit Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley, which is operating out of a building owned by the city. |
