Now that my oldest daughter has a "personal life" the camp and hunting isn't in her agenda.. Almost like loosing a best friend!! So.. To fill this void, I brought my youngest daughter this weekend. She just turned 8. She's still not ready for a shot gun. Very surprisingly, she had a BLAST. We went catch some frogs Saturday Night, when we got back to the camp, she thought she was at the Hilton. Used all the damn hot water while she took her 30 minute shower. I was sooo happy she was having a good time, I couldn't fuss at her. I just let her go.. |

Outstanding! I took my 6 year daughter out to a open water floater yesterday afternoon. We only killed a few ducks, but she had a blast and ate every crumb of junk food that was stashed around the blind. My 7 year old son on the other hand bitched and maoned until mom came and picked him up. Oh well, at least one of em is tough enough!! Can't wait for the next trip with my new padna!!! |
