Before my first was born, my dad told me "your priorities will change, but you won't mind." Boy was he right. I've spent some of my best fishing/hunting trips wishing I was home with my babies. They grow up fast, so spend as much time as you can with them. And take pictures, lots of pictures!!! She is the first girl anyone has had on my side of the family. I asked my dad when we found out what we were having, "what do i do with a girl?" He said raise her like a boy she will be fine. Luckily my wife hunts and fishes with me so i wont have any objections from her on bring the little one.

It goes a long way. My oldest girl turned 3 in April and little sister has her first birthday in October. The oldest is my little running buddy nowadays. I don't feel like I miss out on a thing except for when she's not with me. The little one will tag along more next year, she's still a bit little. In due time though. Congratulations and be prepared to be softened up in ways you never dreamed of. Little girls are a true blessing.
