Couple floats on the stern handles & it should suspend in the water column.

Post Re: A sad day on the Sabine 04/19/12
We were going to stop at this sand bar to fish, and the nearest tree to tie off to was about 30 yards away. So being lazy i just ran the boat up on the beach (like i have done a thousand times). Well, I under estimated the slope of the bank and it foreced the back off the boat down into the water. From the time the boat touched the bank, it took about 30 seconds for it to sink. It was pretty scary and something that has never crossed my mind as a way to sink a boat. Long story short, lots of beers and several hours later waiting on my brother to get his boat, chains and a whinch we got it out. I got the boat home cleaned the engine out and it started instantly.

Another good thing is you gained a trolling motor in pic three! lol

Glad to hear that you have her back running. make sure to get as much water out of the electrical system as possible (electrical cleaner). other wise it will nickle and dime you to death later down the road.
