Re: New member here. Just some pics of my rig.
Nice--- looks like the GDSD 16x56 and the 35hp GDSD ???
Like the muffler - who's is it ?
Did you do the camo and removal of the front foam ?
Nice space saver to put the tanks under there - how hard was it ?
* * * *
I have the GDSD 16x48 hull and just added the 35HP this weekend. So a weight move to the nose looks pretty cool. I have an extended deck and am also gonna move the battery up front and run it on SO cable back to the motor, stock running 28 to 30 mph.
What speed / performace gain came with mods ?

Re: New member here. Just some pics of my rig.
Thanks to all for the welcome. I did pretty much all the work myself. I got the boat used about a year and a half ago. Looked nothing like it does now. No camo, no platform, no bedliner on the floor, gas tanks mounted where the deck ends. Its been a work in progress. Cutting the deck open for the gas tanks wasn't that bad. Now, getting my big azz in those little holes to pull out all the wet foam was another story. I guess i lost about 60 lbs of weight in my boat. The foam was saturated. As i grabbed it to pull it out, it was like squeezing a sponge. But the added room by moving the tanks was worth it. As far as speeds go, the best I've seen with just me, battery and 2 fuel tanks is 29.5. Couldn't keep the front end down. Needed more weight in the front. I'm not sure what kind of speeds I should be getting. My buddy just bought the 18x60 GD boat with the 35GDSD. He runs about the same as I do. BayouBoy, be thankful there ain't many bridges like that one. It breaks way too often. And anytime ya'll are going ride let me know. I work a crazy schedule, but if I'm off I'm in for a ride. Either PM me on here, or my email address is SmokeEater829@aol.com.

I actually think they close the tunnel and have parties tor the highway workers. Or maybe they just use it as a shady place to take a nap. Cuz they never fix it.
