I just look at most of your great pic of your guy boat and wanted to show you guy why I love mud motors up here. There great for hunt on hard water here 3" of ice. |

hey littleO what you think about the beavertail sd? have you had it long? any trouble with it? I was just wondering cause ive never talked to anyone that's run one. |

I haven't notest any different wear. just like my blender I grind my ice with for summer margaritas with no worn down blade and with a surface drive you can use it like an ice eater to open water but its not as quietly as electric motors but faster. you just need to hold the boat from moving while opening up water in the ice here's a pic of the pot hole I made that morning in the dark it took about 40 minutes to open up water and put out a few decks. |

I would just spin it around a few times in different spots. Seems like it would be quicker? Idk how a ice that thick handles though. Its only froze here once that i can remember where there was a obvious layer of ice. And i hope to god it never gets that freakin cold again that shits miserable! ![]() |
