Southern Michigan is perfect for a mud motor. Lots of shallow lakes, miles of cattail marshes, and plenty of lily pads. |

Five Bass the first morning. Took a bit for me to adjust to the amount of vegetation. Going with a much smaller bullet sinker on a Texas Rig helped get into the lily pads without getting hung up as much. |

Three of my brothers and one uncle went on bigger water to try drifting and using walleye rigs for perch, bass, and walleye. We got 42 in a few hours. |

Glad you're enjoying my home state. Would have liked to meet up Ranger. I just got my HDR retro installed Friday. Any excuse to get on the boat is a good one! |
