Southern Michigan is perfect for a mud motor. Lots of shallow lakes, miles of cattail marshes, and plenty of lily pads.

Five Bass the first morning. Took a bit for me to adjust to the amount of vegetation. Going with a much smaller bullet sinker on a Texas Rig helped get into the lily pads without getting hung up as much.

Three of my brothers and one uncle went on bigger water to try drifting and using walleye rigs for perch, bass, and walleye. We got 42 in a few hours.
