Sucks getting stuck by yourself. Had about 2 inches of water and 2 inches of mud then hard clay. Couldn't get a hole dug to get out so I had to push about 40 yards to get to deeper water.

Some places I could trim up where the boat would float and It would move slow. But then hit shallower water and that was it.

You're not gonna have much of a prop left if you get back in there too many more times.

Yeah I know. But since I've been playing in the mud my boat has picked up almost 2 mph!

I ended up in a similar situation a couple weeks back. Soft for a couple inches then clay.

clay sucks..looks like you was moving all around though..dig out one big trench and then take off..just what it looks like to me anyway when you kept trying to turn

Biggest mistake GTR guys make is they want to over use their reverse. Forward is we're your power is at!! Props are made to push forward. Pretty simple logic.

So you're saying the reverse ain't all what it's cracked up to be?

So the best way to use the GTR is to reverse a little so you can clear a path for a good forward run to get the hull moving, then roll out. Like rocking a truck that's in a rut.

Works for me. My boat runs 30+ in forward.
