i just got the same set up with the 40" shaft last weekend ran it for the first time yesterday. Very impressed with it on my 1542!!! what speeds were you getting couldnt make it out on the video

i hit 23.0-23.4mph in shallows but it was spotty....averaged 22.0-22.5mph most the ride. i got it on an old '84 Lowe 1448. very light and i need to distribute the weight better. This was with me(210#), battery in back for now, fuel in the middle of boat for now, 6-7 dozen weighted keel decoys in front, and a roughly 40# cinderblock for added weight in front

I got the 23 GTR and friday in shallow i hit 25 several times. i had my son 50 pounds and 12 gallon tank full and gun box full of bull crap 2 batteries and a wood floor. i was suprized. fixing to take it to SETX and get it ported and polished and the valved bigger. cant wait!

thats awesome....i'm hoping once i get some bolt-on's I get some speeds closer to that....should run better once that and a better hull are added....plan on goin for a ride tomorrow(tuesday) all around bessie heights....b.c. to way north....wanna get it broke in asap.....by the way was that with your big prop or your new 9" prop

Yeah about what I'm getting I'll hit 27 all day in the shallows though thing starts moving. Yeah your gonna love those mods too
