There are a few "hidden" videos of Gator Glide in action that are in other threads, with there being so many GG threads I think yall should post the videos/pictures here so more folks can see what it does like this one from 2ducks.

My crawdad is ribbed. After installing GG it made a huge difference. The ribbed bottom grabbed any type of vegetation before GG. After installation I can't hardly tell a difference between vegetation and open water.

pick up any speed?

Author:  coupe1975 [ Sun Apr 06, 2014 4:22 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: GatorGlide Videos/Pictures (post em here)

Going off my phone cause I didn't have a GPS at the time I did it .. it shows I picked up a few. I'm in a longtail so speeds not really a factor but in the vegetation I damn sure did. It felt like a gained ten mph or so cause vegetation would just about stop me. Id recommend it on a ribbed boat for sure. It actually turns smoother. And rides the stumps better. I wish I would have videotaped what.I.put it through uesterdayrwith my son. Went through shit so thick with vegetation so thick you couldn't hardly see 10 feet ahead of the boat. Went through it at a idle with my son.
Well worth it.

is it roll on or spray on?

Author:  coupe1975 [ Sun Apr 06, 2014 5:00 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: GatorGlide Videos/Pictures (post em here)

Its roll on. Really simple to install and simple to touch up later if needed. There's no need to flip boat. Tape off sides of boatto make a straight line. Sand bottom to scuff it up no need to go to bare merely. Wipe down with acetone till clean. Roll on with small ⅛ nap roller. Let sit about 8 hours to dry enough to set on trailer. Let cure a week to fully cure before putting in water. Nothing to it. "FROG" makes it and sells it. Pm him or go to gatorglide.com to answer any other questions. Hope this helps

You wont be disappointed, unless you unhook it before it's in the water, that is....

As far as speed, you'll pick up speed in vegetation, but not really enough to notice in open water, reason is you have less hull drag on the veggies and the prop has more stuff to bite than open water.

a lot of the ramps I use don't have much slope - makes launching and recovery very easy - even by myself. My boat is a barge without it, it was a bear with it it's a breeze

Would 1 gallon be enough for a 1954 excel?

Post subject:  Re: GatorGlide Videos/Pictures (post em here)

Yes. Contact frog. Or go to the gg website. He will make sure you don't buy to much and you get enough. Call him, he's always answered or called back when I called.
