Ya know, when I hit stuff with my prop it flings the tiller right out my hand, what's the trick in hitting stuff like a log, dam, etc, and having the motor just kinda buck up? I see these guys actually jumping shit but I'd have reserve doin such a thing not knowing what the tiller would do......?

I don't know about everyone else, but I dont hold the tiller overly firmly nor do I wrap my thumb around the bottom of the grip. My PD was horrible in this spot, almost knocked me out of the boat a time or two. The floating handle helps but it'll still pop out of my hand on occasion.

I wasn't thinkin there was any real remedy to the problem, have found that the higher your trimmed, the better it goes. What would be really nice is if trim was on grab bar, could react quicker
