For the first vid, I was the cameraman...BigE was driving. Moral of the story is don't sit on the front deck running through sun-baked mud (at least don't do it if BigE is driving).

Yeah, it was a long ride home. Glad we put in at the state park where they had showers...and glad I didn't go in head first.

That could have been a real bad day! What exactly did you hit, was it a log or something, or just a sand bar? It's hard to believe that boat stopped that fast. Good thing for you that it did!

Neither...just mud. The mud had been baking in the sun long enough to dry it out some. When we hit it, the boat began slowing, and I began tipping over, so Chris let off the throttle, and the boat stopped quick.

Sorry, I missed the part about the sun baked mud in the first post. Very nice rig!
