Hey Swamplord...i mainly keep the rig over at Little River Club. I've got a cabin there...but haven't seen many ducks.

I'm not familiar with little river club, you know any guys that get together in the area to run there boats? I've got a 3-man hyde with a 35 mud buddy. I mainly hunted my lease just south of salt plains (a 5 acre water shed lake) and sloughs in the revers on the eastern side of the state. All in all ducks were hit and miss for us, one morning 4 limits in 15mins the next 3 ducks all day.....you know how it is.

Swamplord, i was just looking at your "location" being Idabel, ok...Little River is about 18 miles east of Idabel just over in Arkansas. About 15 or so miles south of DeQueen, AR.

No kidding, so is it a private club or just your personal place? I now live in the Tulsa area.

It's a little private community of cabins on the river...and there is a little 9 hole golf course...I've got a few friends from my hometown of Texarkana that have cabins. It's a pretty neat deal. I hoping we (OK folks) can get a fun run going this summer.

I see, i was thinking it was a Duck Club. Texarkana, I spend plenty of time there (the company I work for is based out of LR and I cover that area). Yeah a fun run was what I had in mind, are there many okies on the site? I'm still pretty new to the fourm so I havent been able to utilize all of the resources it has to offer. There are some large and fun mud flats to run on Keystone lake. Dont know if you've been out there but where the Cimmiaron and Ark run into the lake is where the best are located, from there you can run miles up river hitting all kinds of stuff. The bowfishing in these areas also gets good.

Organize an event and I'm sure other folks would travel to it. If it doesn't coincide with something already established.

Yeah ive run keystone. Also trashed a prop on that lake. I already have commitments for the weekend.

We ought to plan on something after turkey season at broken bow then.

I am also going to caddo in june, it ought to be a good time!

OK, you two are officially in charge!! Let me know where and i'll try to plan accordingly. Keystone or Broken Bow both sound good to me. I've been out on Keystone but that was back when i had a ski boat...I've never been out on Broken bow but i've heard its a nice lake...and it's about 45mins to an hour from my cabin.
