 spare tire carrier for trailer
Anyone know where I can get a square u bolt with threads to secure my spare tire to my trailer? The channel is 3" wide X 4" high. The overall length I need is at least 10" to be able to get it to go through my holes on my wheel. The tire is laying down on the top of the channel. All the ones I have found are too short in overall length. Let me know.

This is like the 1 I bought. My trailer tongue is a 3x4 and I have several inches to spare. I either got it at BP or Academy. Its a stout assembly. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/store ... 0_225-10-0

Not to be smart but did you try to flip the tire over. The rim may be deeper the other way. I put a tape on mine and its 8" to clear the rim with about 1 3/4" to spare with 13" tires.

Re: spare tire carrier for trailer
The one at Academy has always worked for me. Worked on the airboat trailer and it's 15 or 16" tires.
