Just so everyone knows, Deep South's sponsorship ran out and is no longer a sponsor. I had sent a renewal notice a few months ago and hadn't heard back, so he's not a sponsor on MMT.

I hope this all gets straightened out.

Never said they were. I've been criticized for unwisely giving a business a deposit. Had I found him via a flyer or eBay ad, I'd agree-I shouldn't have trusted him with my money. Although MMT doesn't share any responsibility or obligation in this situation, in defense of my judgement, I don't feel it was unreasonable to assume that a sponsor here would not steal my money. Again, MMT bares zero responsibility for my decision and my loss. The loss was due to theft.

Docott, you are aware that Nocem can't file charges for you, right? That would be something you also need to do. If he in fact is committing fraud/theft then it makes it much easier to prove intent when their are multiple reports of him doing the same thing to multiple people. Makes the difference between a civil matter and a criminal matter. You would be surprised how people suddenly find money to pay restitution to stay outta jail
