sad ending...prayers to the families involved.....I hope they find the guy that did it so we will know who to seek vengence on.......I have no sympathy for someone who would do something like this, none........there are plenty places he would never be found......hell just drop him off in the middle of the marsh this summer and let him be.....aligators snakes and skeeters would take care of him before he could get out.......

Post Re: Dog Stolen in Lafayette
I registered to this forum just so I could post this.

Please, please, please tell the Arthur family that there are so many people in Acadiana who are heart-broken, horrified, and OUTRAGED about the theft (kidnapping!!) of poor old Boz.

I consider my animals to be family members and when I think of what happened to Boz, I cannot help but cry and I can only imagine how devastated his family is...they will be in the thoughts and prayers of many, many people <3

Then you should be mad at the shitty owners, not the dogs. I've been around them since my teenage years and doubt I will ever live in a home without one. I have never fought one and have never owned one that was aggressive towards a person for no good reason.

I can promise you Pits no matter how they are raised can snap at any minute and be on the attack. i don't care how well you raise them, they are vicious dogs and its in their blood. I lost all respect for pits with one encounter that i thought would never happen in a thousand years with this dog. While at a friend of mines house for a get together, he has a male and female pit, the 9 year old son was playing in the back yard, the dogs are in a pen, next thing we know the kid let out a blood curtaling scream. We ran to the back yard and the only thing that would turn the dog loose was a shot from a 40cal. This dog was bought as a puppy and has been in his family for years ever exposed to beatings mis treated in anyway or anything violent. I don't like them they are too unpredictable. He got rid of the female a day later. You can have them Son Of a Bitches

YUP, fuck a pit, seen enough of them attack for no reason, if it did it once it will do it again, maybe next time to a child. But tell u what smart ass, if u know so much about what happened, please tell us. Between a pt and a lab, i can bet u which one was the aggressor.

Actually, it turns out that a pair of pits attacked Boz. It was witnessed by the people that called animal control. By the time they arrived Boz couldn't be saved. The animal control people sent pictures to Jamie that were taken before Boz was euthanized and they were gruesome.

I'm not saying that isn't what happened, and I do feel bad for your loss. Please do not take me the wrong way. I'm simply stating that the breed should not be blamed, the owners should. Why were the two "pits" out running around loose? Because they had shitty owners? Maybe? Maybe they had been beaten all their lives and taught that it was okay to fight other dogs? Just something for yall to consider.

Its not a myth to me, I have seen it with my own eyes several times, after hurricanes there are several dogs running loose, dogs of all breeds, starving to death, the only ones that are attacking other animals are pits, I have killed several and will continue to do so. And yes if my lab were to do the same, i would expect the same results.

No they aren't bro. They are both family friends. I would find you the news articles, but they weren't publicized because they weren't attacked by pit bulls. Neither of the dogs were even put down afterwards as far as I know.

I read a story about a golden retriever that killed an entire n!gger family with a sling blade, including the two pits they had chained up outside. I love goldens!

Carry on
