What these guys mentioned. Don't let speed be the deciding factor on what you do. A properly tuned carb will idle and run just as good if not better than EFI. Of course, a plus to carb is most "shade tree" mechanics can work on them and get back to the landing.

I ordered an efi hdr last week. Changed my mind and switched to the carburetor motor. I think I made the right choice.

Can you get a GTR 35 carb with the new e-reverse? Or is that only offered with the 37efi?

Well Thanks Guy's!
After all of that discussion I bit the bullet and got a GTR 37 EFI… I'll update ya'll as I get info.. Thanks guys for the input it was much appreciated!!
