I called and talked with Freedom last week. They said they will not be making any "mud motors" bigger than the 50hp and he is about 6 months away from being able to cool any tohatsu up to a 250 in the "SD" model motor they are doing.

That’s some interesting info. Can’t wait for some videos. What’s the width on your skiff. Is the bottom flat like most mud boats.

I watched the videos and wasn't impressed, didn't see anything a normal outboard couldn't do. How will it last bouncing off a hard bottom or a good lick on a stump running 30+mph?
