Re: Fun run wallisville project
Tide was low today from sun up till 4pm in the bay........we will be fishing in the morning but we will try to be back to the ramp by 9am.if we are not there when we here or see you we will catch up.
I dint know what the name of the place is but here is how we get to our spot.
Go south from the ramp, take first right. At the Y go left and we are fishing about 1/2 mile before the bay to just into the bay. Look for the big black POS with two crackers fishing like a brother.......
Lots of action today on reds and blue cat so we are going to try for a limit in the AM.
Everyone be safe, and if you need a place to stay Americas Best Inn is just up the road..# 409-374-2424....good luck understanding the towle heads
Later

Coming back home from the other side of Houston I saw 4 or five of you guys fueling up at the Valero there. There was a Chevy pullin two rigs. And a few others there. I sure hate that I missed seeing and riding with you guys. Damon said it was a hell of a good time!

Re: Fun run wallisville project
Me and Silk were talking about that. Make a pretty good size event every year. Needs to be in February or March when we would have potential North wind to get the water out. We could run to the three spots as last time and maybe even 1 or 2 more. Miller Lake would be a better spot than mud. Also when water is way out Charlotte is nasty too. We could go in before the event and clear out Lake Pass of any overhangs so the higher boats could make it through instead of running up to Sulphur cut. I ran from Mud Lake to Fort Anahuac at 3800 to 4000 rpms into that 20+ mph wind with chop and it took 45 minutes. From the locks to Fort Anahuac is about 15 minutes. We may have to investigate this further boys.

Re: Fun run wallisville project
Comin out was easy. Me and Currie came out first and never stopped. When I got to the end I got out of my boat and helped everyone else thru. Them wide boats and longer motors don't like those tight trails as much. It was fun!! Whenever yall are ready to do it again just say the word!! I will help in anyway I can!
