Beavertail surface drive??? Anybody had the chance to run the 40hp one yet? How do they run compared to the other brands? |

If the 40 Kohler is anything like the 27, IMO it would be better than a Briggs. The early ones that I have encountered had carb issues (tuning), but I have heard through the grapevine that this has been resolved and the pullers are starting to use and mod them. |

I loved my 27 Kohlers, couldn't kill 'em, no problems. I would run a big block Kohler in a heartbeat if they worked the bugs out. |
