I have the 35GTR. If your in "forward" and approaching the ramp or dock, and you realize your going a little fast..can you immediately switch to Neutral and engage the reverse to slow down? Also, What Trolling motor would you guys recommend for my rig..1860 GTB?? It will mostly be used in Saltwater. |

Yes, that is the beauty of the "instant reverse" Pop into neutral, squeeze lever, throttle as necessary. I even installed a 2nd trim switch next to my throttle and can trim down as I throttle in reverse. As for part B "trolling motor" question, sorry no help ![]() |

To help save some money, look at cabelas, they have some refurbished units that come with a one year warranty. Both of my last two trolling motors came from them. No trouble at all. Discounted price.. I would recommend a 24v 60 or bigger. I presently have a 50 lb 12v on my 17' 50" w HNTdeck and I do fine but would like to have more for river current. |
