http://www.fascoepoxies.com/Roll it on after prep. About 100.00 or so per gl. 9x-2000 is the one you want. Weight would not be much.

Re: FLEXSTEEL APOXY?
Weight would be less than a couple pounds, depending on how many coats you do.
I coated a 17' & 18' boat with one gallon of end product (half gal of each part).
Scuffed the bottom of the hull with a sander, like 80 or 100 grit. Clean with whatever fasco says to use to clean/prep the surface.
The warmer it is, the faster it cures!!
Mix that stuff good, then real good, then again for good measure.
I did the boats in thirds, just poured it outa the bucket, then spread it around via the roller.
It does chip on rocks really easy, but does help sliding over logs & weeds!

Re: FLEXSTEEL APOXY?
I had the Steelflex on my last hull. It does come off easily on rocks, BUT if you have some hooks it will fill them in nicely.
Aucoin... what is the difference between the frog spit and SF? About the same stuff? I have heard of it for a while but I have never seen it on a hull...
Wonder which is better...

Re: FLEXSTEEL APOXY?
Thanks for all the input! One more question. It sounds like it really makes the hull slick, which I know is the objective, but does it cause any problems. like sliding out in turns or any other problems. l

Re: FLEXSTEEL APOXY?
one potential problem...
Dont unhook your boat from the trailer until you are in the water, it WILL slide off a lot easier.

Re: FLEXSTEEL APOXY?
Hey I`ve got another question. I called to late to order that Flexsteel.or ask them a question. So here it is. What about color, is it clear, or do you add color to it or do you paint it, or does it come a certain color?

Re: FLEXSTEEL APOXY?
It can be tinted different colors. Tell them what color you want when ordering.
