Curious of the opinions..or none of the above is fine as well. I am going to buy a winch, and I am thinking of either the Superwinch or Promark 4500lb. I know it may be overkill, but... Thx in advance for your opinions. |

I'm using the Promark as well. Got mine shipped to my door for $189. Only used it once, but it pulled my barge with no problems --- - Mud Buddy Black Death 4500 hanging on to an 18x58 Uncle J Custom barge! |

I would highly suggest using the synthetic cable...not sure on those brands i havent had any experience with them |

ive heard very good things about harbor fright products. they do there in house testing and hold the import manufactures to high standerds |

i have a 3000 promark, never had to use it yet but i tested it out in the yard and worked fine |
