I was out smokin the competition today and all of a sudden I see a little puff of smoke from my clutch switch and a little smoke down around the clutch cover. and that was it never could get it started back. it was a long ride back for the 12 hour 36 pd behind a wimpy little mudbuddy. Anybody got any idea what I burned and how. I'm gonna go drag it out tomorrow and take it apart but didn't have time to do major surgery today. Any ideas where I should start? |

Your screwwwwd! lol If your motor will not start with the clutch switch in, than I would start at the switch. the motor should still start unless the clutch switch is fubar'd. Might take a quick gander at the clutch wires going to the clutch its self and see if there burnt up . being you had smoke coming from both ends sound like something grounded out. |

yeah thats what i figure. i was flyin until then. maybe got a little vibration shakin somethin to ground. I was hoping that it was just the switch connection but when i got in the box it was ok. I just took the tow line and got her to the dock for the night. kind of a bummer cause i was givin everybody hell about being slow. |

well it was mudbuddies so maybe I wasn't goin all that fast. low thirties with me and mmayes in the boat. they couldn't touch us. |
