 Battery Location
The battery on my PD is positioned on the floor of my boat just in front of the rear cross memeber. I was wondering if anyone else has there battery positioned here and why is it not to the very rear of the boat up against the transom. Its kinda just taking up space!

 Re: Battery Location
mine is behind the last cross member. just drill out the rivets and put it where you want it and pop rivet it down. you shouldn't have any problems at all.

 Re: Battery Location
Put it where ever it needs to be to balance out the boat side to side.

 Re: Battery Location
had a 14ft sheetmetal hull that was rivited, and had to put the battery in the middle of the two benches, picked up 3mph that way. when the longtail would barely run 22 3mph was plenty
